I use to have an actual Bourns Instruments calibrated piezo accelerometer, that attached to my recording O-scope, and it's probably still in my "mad scientist stuff" but I'll not bet on me finding it any time in this life ........
Thanks guys, this will be fun and educational!!![]()
Yeah, and when brought to max potential by the the overthruster, it would kick in the flux capacitor and move my DeLorean all the way across the 8'th dimension .... to Buckaroo Banzai's place.![]()
P.S. Are you guys going to lose Magpul after the Co. state legislature's day?
I'm really afraid to think what our next legislative meeting is going to bring us here in the People's Republik of Kalifornia, and am disappointed because Co. was on a short list of places to move to.![]()
......... even though the actual recoil in an AR happens (as I've said before) while the bolt is locked ......

Tell magpul to come to missouri...u come too...we need more profitable companies and like-minded people here, plus i need more shooting buddiesjust tell magpul i got some land they can build on, or theres a closed-down factory not 20 miles from me with a large workforce to support it...
But to get back to topic, if there's nobody in a cold-weather climate I could try it out and see if cold effects it at all. I could just replicate the same tests that everybody else did in sub-zero temps. But if there is someone already trying it in the cold I can be left out. The results from the trusted ones here are perfectly good enough for me.

Kinda like this ? Not the coldest I've ever seen it,but it is a bit chilly with the wind.
...STRONG WINDS AND BITTER COLD WIND CHILLS THIS MORNING...
STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS SUSTAINED AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH...WILL PERSIST THROUGH LATE MORNING.
THESE WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH THE COLD TEMPERATURES TO PRODUCE BITTER COLD WINDCHILLS LOWERING TO AROUND 20 BELOW ZERO THROUGH LATE MORNING.
IF VENTURING OUTDOORS THIS MORNING YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THESE BITTER COLD CONDITIONS.
