Friend felt bad over his dog. He had a dream: "Louey", jumped out of the ground where he was buried, did a back flip and silently let him know EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT.
It is the greatest love and devotion that one can do for a beloved pet when their quality of life is gone.

So sorry, brother. I too have lost too many good old friends over the years, and don't have any answers other than it slowly gets to hurting a little less. That was a beautiful collie and I know you will miss him.

I'm so sad for you this morning. Like so many others in here I too know the heart break of having to say good bye to a good and faithful friend. I believe that most of us know the depth and power of the bond we have with our furry friends.
We are all they have. They depend on us for every thing they need and in return the give us love and companionship in their own way giving us every thing they have to give. It's unconditional love.
I'm saying prayers for your acceptance and peace of mind. I hope you can focus on the good times and good memories that you have of the years that you and Edward had together. God bless.

Bob, I hurt for you. I lost my little 14-year old Border Collie, Patsy, just three months ago, and I still hurt. But, I will always have those beautiful memories of the wonderful times we had together. Prayers and thoughts are with you at this time, pard.
