Lost a loyal best friend

Please accept my condolences and a prayer that he may find the Rainbow Bridge quickly.

I am on my third dog as an adult and it always rips your heart out when they go. I did like you, loved on them while they were being escorted into eternity.
RIP Welhelm, you were loved and gave the same.

So sorry for your family loss. I feel very sad for folks who have never known the love of a dog. They are missing one of the great experiences of life. It does not seem like it now but someday in the future you will feel the need to care for another pup and the cycle of love and loss begins again.

Very sorry for your loss. We are scheduled to have our 11 year old border collie cross over this Saturday, she has been dealing with kidney failure for the last few months and it is time to let her go before it gets too bad, very tough.

My 14 year old Springer Spaniel went over the bridge yesterday. She was ok on Saturday morning and woke up from her nap at 4 in the afternoon unable to stay on her feet without falling or crashing into the furniture. It continued on Sunday, so Monday we took our last ride to her vet and she was gently put to sleep. She was a sweetheart with everyone she met, and a hard-charging dynamo in the field, with a nose for birds like none I've ever seen. Like every springer I've known, she had a personality all her own.
With every little creak in the house my brain says she's coming down the hall, then reality sets in. This is going to hurt for a while. RIP, Gracie.
