I know they weren't very popular, but I have a fun story and some great luck with mine. Around 2010 I was bored at work and found a classified ad for one 4 hours away in Birmingham. 30-06, camo stock, $200. I hopped in the car and went for a road trip! Got it home and thoroughly went through it. The barrel was the worst, copper fouled something bad. Guessing this is why they sold it, probably shot pie plate groups at 100. I ran copper erasing soaked patches through it every morning before work, letting it soak for the day. After two weeks of this i was down to bare metal. Mounted up a decent Burris 3.5-10x with a few different loads (a few of them handloads) and found this thing to be a real shooter. Adjusted the Timney trigger to a light crisp break and shot the hell out of it for the next few years. The 5R barrel really shined. Sub 1" groups with almost anything I ran through it, especially my handload of 150 grain Sierra Gameking over 54 grains of IMR-4350. I piled up over a dozen deer with that combo over the next several years. Still have it, it's my loaner rifle for when a friend needs a rifle to absolutely hit something. A shame they only made a few thousand, I thought they had potential with some refinement.

Picked up a 7mag/1500 through Cabela's Gun Library. Had it shipped from some place in Pennsylvania. Ended up getting that and 2 boxes of ammo for just over $300.00. Put a Hogue stock and a Vortex Crossfire II 3-12 on it and it is an awesome gun. Only problem is the bold doesn't lock with the safety. Walking in the mountains I have to constantly check the bolt to make sure I am not dumping my ammo.
