I-bolt for $300?

what do you guys think of this? seems like a steal of a deal to me. How do these I-bolts compare to a Rem 700? Was looking for sort of a tactical sniper rifle.. not something I "need" but want, you know how it is. Is there a catch about certain models, or something I am overlooking?

I don't think you can go to wrong at that price especially in the 308 caliber. If you don't like it I think you could sell it and get your money back. Buy it and let us know how it shoots, complete with pictures.

I bought one when they were $339.00, and I thought I got a great deal at that.
For a skinny barrel rifle it shoots about 1.5 MOA cold. I am going to check the barrel bedding to make sure that the barrel is fully floated, and shoot some more. For the money I don't think one could do better. It is a geat hunter and a good tactical rifle, till it heats up some. I use an old Weaver 6K on it with a post, and it has turned out to be a good investment.

thanks for the info. how much $ would one have to step up to a 1moa rifle, or a .50 moa rifle?

It's in 30/06 cal. A little more pop than the .308. Great elk caliber.

either way, 3006 or 308 for the price it is worth taking a chance. If you get it post some pixs and let us know how it shoots.
