I saw a rifle that I really wanted--Kimber 84M in .257 Roberts with gorgeous wood. Alas, after a year on this Forum I still retained the capacity for some rational thought, and it was my downfall. I reasoned that because I do not hunt, and because I already had a rifle in this caliber, I could let this beauty go to another bidder. It certainly had beautiful wood. However i believe you did the
right thing. It's always more fun to buy a new caliber. That way
you can justify buying all new tooling for reloading. Dies, Bullets,
Brass, powder, etc.....

I am sorry for your loss. I know how you must feel. The .257 Roberts is one of the best deer calibres going. The stock on that rifle was stunning and Kimber simply cannot be beat for quality. You must be devastated.

The worst part is that I must go through life knowing that by failing to live up to the lofty ideals of this Forum I have let my brothers and sisters down.
