I like single action revolvers of the Colt variety but am not much inclined toward the Bisley model. I'm also not a huge fan of fancy guns. But I saw this one the other day and it just sort of leaped out at me, begging me to take it home. It just struck me. It's a Cimarron Colt 45 Bisley. Color cased (probably chemical, I don't know) and engraved, sort of. The engraving is deeper that the usual laser engraving but not like chisel cut either. I suppose done with a laser, then hand chased a bit. The grips are Tru Ivory. Whatever, the action is excellent, it's a fine shooter and the price was right. The Bisley is definitely an acquired taste. I've been shooting single action Colts for 60 years but I'm not sure I'm ready yet to come over to the Bisley for good. Anyway, see what you think.
