I strayed from the S&W fold and bought a Bersa. A Thunder 380CC at that. It was so cute, I couldnt' resist.

Even worse, I'm selling a 5904, so I'll end up with the Bersa and cash.

Bersa makes good guns. I've owned a couple, including the Thunder, but it's been a few years ago. At the time, it was hard to find magazines.

As for selling your 5904...it's your gun, your decision. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Best of luck with your new gun. :)

I have a Bersa ultra compact in .45. Picked it up used for very little $. It shoots suprisingly well, and is my alternate concealed carry. The finish on mine is terrible looking, a common fault as I understand. But since it stays covered most of the time, who cares.

It's kinda like the old saying: "looks don't last, cooking does."

The Bersa seems pretty well made. It came with a Ramora pocket holster, which it fits into well.

The 5904 was an impulse purchase a couple of years ago. I have a 5906 which isn't going anywhere, so the 5904 was extra.

Meh, that ain't so bad. That is a great little gun and I think you will enjoy it. There's more than just one kind of gun that is good. You may be naughty but not for buying the Bersa. ;)

Let me tell ya something-some of my best experiences in life have been a result of "going over across the tracks" for a while ;) Not switching teams mind you, just taking on different opponents :D

I have had my Bersa Thunder (CC model - 7 in the mag and one in the pipe), for 4 years and love it. Shoots very well can conceals even better. My buddy shot mine once and immediately went out and got one for himself. At just under $300 it remains one of the best bang for the buck purchases I have ever made. Now if I could just find some decent .380 ammo at a reasonable price....

Because it's not on the Massachusetts approved list, I had to pay what I call the "MA premium" for it. However, it came with the DeSantis holster, a Galco IWB holster (left handed), and a box of 20 Speer Gold Dot 90gr JHP rounds.

I'm a righty, so the Galco will be sold. I might buy a different pocket holster and sell the DeSantis as well.

Either way, I'm happy with the deal and the gun.

Speaking of .380 ammo, what is the price range for target ammo? A week ago, it was all over the place, but I paid no attention. Now that I need some, I can't seem to find it.
