I got a 28-2 that sticks when the hammer is pulled back

Markuda,

A yoke barrel being out of alignment is not necessarily going to be accompanied by a bent ejector rod.I only mentioned this as a possibility.

If that happens to be the cause of the problem,it's easy to repair(for someone with the tools and know how).

It's quite often caused by someone slamming the cylinder open and shut like TV detectives, etc.

My baby has been fixed

The wife took my gun to Darnall Gun Works and Range today(Bloomington,Illinois) and had Ron take a look at it.
Here is what he typed out on the repair order.
"Address the face of the ejector star, star spring had gotten bent up, straighten to fit better, stone the face of cylinder because the end of crane had gotten burrs on it.
Firearm show alot of internal sanding with a rotator tool on the crane and rod.
Firearm show it has been apart many times and worked on.
Can all be aggravated by ammo, also."
He worked on it one hour and charged my wife 50 bucks

I have cocked the gun no less that 200 times so far and all is good.
I think I will go shoot it Thursday and then report back again

A box of Fannie May chocolates AND 2 dozen Krispy-Creams ought to be headed your gunsmiths way!
Did I mention putting him on your Christmas card list for 09' as well?
Glad you got her humming again! I'll bet she's a beauty!
