Congratulations, Curtis. Last time I was in Great Bend, the wind was blowing a steady 50 mph or so. Tough on golf balls and bullets. I hope everything works out and you have a great time.

Congratulations. I also had a 7 month "vacation." Nice to get back to work, even tho The Chosen One tells me I don't have to.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Unemployment sucks...those of you who have been there know...those of you who haven't count your lucky stars.
Once I get established all are welcome to come visit, eat some home smoked BBQ, and maybe shoot a little.
The help and support I have gotten here has really helped me make it through a tough time. Fortunately I have been able to keep most of my guns. I am going to have to get a bird gun as I dont think my 6 shot 870 is suitable for pheasants.

John, no roses necessary. Just glad I could help out friends--both Curtis and the guy who hired him. ALso glad he found someplace to live. Looking forward to meeting Curtis' wife and getting them involved in the community!

Oh, yeah. I just thought.....this gives Kansas one more member at the Southwest Bunch get together in Tulsa after the show. Texas--you better get more members there--we're kicking your.....yep.
