I hate going to a site I've been going to for years only to have them tell me to sign back in. Especially if it's a site I've been using while my email addresses have changed. If you try hitting the Forgot Password button it will automatically say it's sending an email to an address I no longer have. It's usually fairly easy but some sites make you select passwords that you would never remember. I know I should write them down or something. I used to send them to myself in an email. I had a bunch at Hotmail but now I can't get into it. Okay, I guess that's my complaint for this morning. I'll stop whining now.

What OS are you using? If it's Windows, it saves your passwords.

If you're using the Firefox browser, it too saves.

I have Firefox set to save my passwords. It will also generate new quite complex passwords for new sites and save them. I set one "master" password, and that's the only one I need to remember. My phone does the same for the things I look at on it.

I have a different password for every single account I have. There are no duplicates for anything which makes remembering all of them next to impossible. Some of the more popularly used one I do remember of course.

I have a small hard bound book about 3.5" x 5.5" that I write down all my passwords in. It is alphabetized and it probably has 300+ pw's in it.

When I travel, I have a small piece of paper with all the important ones I would need to access important websites. There are also a few that I write in code and keep on my phone - encrypted. If I lose my phone, 99.95% of people wouldn't even know what they are or how to decipher them.

Simplest thing, just keep a notebook with your log-ins and passwords clearly indicating what web-site they are for.

If other family members use the same web-sites, such as for utilities, TV service, etc, make sure they absolutely do not change passwords of create new ones for any web-site unless they make sure you are advised to change the notebook!

I use a password app "sticky password" end of issue... Its the cheapest and safest I have found. Even monitors dark web.

I have a LibreOffice document that has all 159 user names, and passwords I use.

It's 5 pages long. I print it out and keep a copy in a document case in one of my gun safes.

My passwords are my handguns serial numbers _ a Colt Woodsman MT , a S&W 17 no dash and a HS HD Military - impossible to forget !
Regards, Ray
