I hate those 9c mags

You dont need no stinking loader....do some thumb push ups and stop your crying ;)

See, and I was going to say he just need "man thumbs" ;)

Time and practice will pay off in the end. I load a lot of mags between competition and quarterly quals. I shoot two H&Ks for quals and load 13 12 rounds mags for my duty guns, for my competition 1911s I have 32 mags, which get loaded multiple times per day when practicing so my thumbs get a real work out.

With the hand holding the mag to be loaded, use the thumb to press down the first round while sliding in the next with your other hand. Repat as necessary until full.

You oughta try dealing with them left-handed!!!

Oh, there's this gadget called an "Uplula"...

Actually, with my 9C, the spring is so tight that I can't push it down far enough with the Uplula to fit in the last round. But putting 1 round in by hand, if I really need that last one, beats putting them all in.

Besides, I've just gotten full-size 17-round mags for it, when size is not important.

Found a way to put in the last round much easier. Take out the follower and carefully file about 1/16" off the legs. Will load last round easily and the follower still works 100%.

Put 250 rds thru my 9c this afternoon in about 45 minutes of range time.

Before my uplula, I couldn't even do half of that. Major time & thumb saver.

No problems getting 12 or 17 rds in. Opted for 10 at a time after that first box of 50 disappeared in under 10 minutes.

Well, I still havent' gotten an Uplula. I'm kinda like just "suck it up" and quit whining. :)

Once I get the first round in, I'm not having near the trouble getting the rest in. It still takes a little bit of time, but no where near as long as when I first got the gun.

Limited range time unfortunately, I've only got 300 rounds through it so far. :(

My range bag always has an Uplula in it. Great loader.

Now my wife can load for me while I'm busy shooting!:D

Okay, I load for her also sometimes.

The gun shop where I bought my M&P9 gave me a Glock mag loader for free with the purchase. She said they were normally a $8 item. Works great with any M&P mag. Very compact. Should be available almost anywhere cheap. Online for under $10. I don't like Glocks, but will admit their mag loader is great

Would you rather have a mag that has a weak spring... and fails to feed? Although I have a couple of Uplula loaders, I use them to save time loading at the range. I can load three mags to one with it. My son and I have had competitions doing it. But you need to man up and get used to loading mags, this is not a sewing class, even they use thimbles.

I managed to load them fine at 17 degrees and snowing this weekend

uphill both ways too

Those things are the damn hardest to load that I've ever encountered. OK, they are the only ones I've encountered, but they are B I T C H E S to load!!!!! :D Kill my thumbs.

I am going to have to find one of those speed loaders ASAP.

Does it ever get any easier to load the magazines by hand???

Buy the UPLULA loader.
