I don't know how it is in other parts of the country but its just stupid here in NJ. Can't find 38 or 357 or anything other than turkey ammo here in NJ! Its been this way for weeks.

I went to the local Dick's Sporting Goods again this morning and they are wiped out again. The sales guy told me its gone in an hour and in some cases they can't even put it out before people take it right off the pallet.

Thats one business that isn't hurting these days!

Here are two solutions, go to a real gunshop and check or go to a real gunshop and get some loading tools and components and make your own, I would go with option two and you will never have this problem again although in times like these even primers and powder can be a bit tricky to find but its not as bad as factory fodder, I know its not what you wanted to hear....but

I have a good friend that reloads. I should have grabbed what I could a month ago when I last saw about a dozen boxes on the shelf. I stocked up on stuff for my other guns but as a new 686 owner that doesn't help me now.

Nothing available online either unless you want to pay $39 for a box od 38s! Oh well I'll have to start hunting for stock.

Harry's on Rt 130.

Effingers in Bound Brook.

Give them a call.

Know any LEO's? Probably a good source.

Same with any of the bigger Ranges. Always someone who loads or may have some ammo.

Tough in NJ especially since Rays went out of business in N. Plainfield.

Good Luck.

FN in MT

P.s. I just bought 1000 Federal 38s for $380 shipped.

And 6 boxes of magnums for $135 shipped.
