I thought that I would make some of you guys jealous. I have about 1200 rounds of .380 that I bought early last year.Nope, you can not have any.

Cabelas has Magtech 380 ball in stock. They shipped me four boxes today. Get it while you can!

Just got 1000 rounds of .223 from Cabelas. I received an E-mail at 6pm Thursday from Midway USA saying that Hornady Critical Defense ammo was in stock in .380, .38 Special, and 9mm. By 6:40 it was all gone....missed the order by 10 minutes. Went to WalMart Friday....all they had was shotgun ammo and some small boxes of .22...everything else was sold out.
I have been buying 00 Buckshot and slugs in the 15 round boxes. It is a little cheaper than buying the 5 round packs. I'll probably actually sight-in a couple of shotguns with slugs this fall for deer season. I have never shot a deer with a slug.

Hi S&W-Keeper: I've amassed a similar amount over the last several years and really didn't realize how much I had until my sons helped me reorg the basement. What I'm wondering is how much of that I can possibley shoot thru my Sig 230. You have fun and think of me as we try to whittle down the piles.
I have approx 400 assorted 380 rounds. Since I only shoot about 10 a year, it should last for a while.

Yeah, I rat-holed 380, 9mm, 38, 357, and 30-30 over the last few years. Glad I did. Oh yeah and 22 and 22magnum as well. I had a Ruger mini 14 and a case of ammo I stupidly sold

Can anyone explain why .380 is in short supply?
I have a bunch in the basement, not because I bought it, but my father had a bunch when he passed away. I honestly have never fired even a round of .380. 45acp, 223, 308 win, 762 x39 -- I can understand shortages here, but why .380?

A Winchester rep told my local store that 380 is made on the same line as 9mm. Since they are selling all of the 9 they can make, they are not going to shut down and start on 380.

I just visited a Walmart in McAllen Texas and it had a bunch of just about everything except 9mm. Even had boxes of .223 and .45acp. I am traveling currently and take the opportunity to look for 9mm.
