What Are Your Favorite Jeans for Pocket Carry?

With dress pants I always IWB, but I really like pocket carry, especially with a small revolver or BG 2.0.

What are your favorite (large front pocket) jeans for pocket carry?

L.L. Bean jeans have historically had generous front pockets for concealed carry of a J-frame. The latest ones I purchased several years ago, were cut more tightly and the material is thinner. Pocket carry is iffy. My older jeans are the best.

Most all the ones made in the past 3 or so years are cut for "young" people, thin and tight. I have better luck pocket carry with cotton dress pants. the slash pockets are much easier to get access and draw from than jeans are. Carhart work pants usually work great also.

For casual - Levi 505's.

My 442 fits perfectly into the coin pocket of Wrangler relaxed fit jeans. Add a trigger guard cover attached to belt loop. Voila!

On the infrequent times I carry my cellphone goes in the left pocket and the LCP goes in the right pocket of my festive PJ bottoms.

I've recently become enamored of Red Head stretch jeans (relaxed fit) from Bass Pro / Cabelas. Inexpensive, but they fit well and seem to be durable. Front pockets are large enough for a small 9mm handgun. Oh, they do run a bit on the larger size, so you might need to go down a size from your "normal" size.

My Carhartt work pants have nice large (and extra durable) pockets as well.

Moved away from jeans to 5.11 tacticals. I find the front leg pocket a good fit for my ltwt Mustang in a pocket holster.
