I have a 357 reg magnum with certificate

This is an exceptional treasure, compounded by the fact that it belonged to your grandfather.
I suggest assuring that it is properly secured and insured.
Lee's Landing Billy is correct, "These finds are what keep us all in the hunt."

Thinnes ..... congrats on a great family heirloom

All my Dad left me was a ratty old , 6 inch, .357 magnum Colt New Service with King sights and action work...... that he carried from when he started as a Motorcycle patrolman riding an Indian in 1938...... for 39 years..... until he retired as a Captain*.

Like yours........... Priceless :D

Oh ya..... I still got the box!!!!!!

* Footnote; pushing a desk he generally carried his 4 inch; 1946 S&W M&P .38. About the first thing he bought when he returned from a S. Pacific cruise.

I'm late to the party on this thread. Missed it when first posted and again when it bubbled up in 2018.

What a wonderful family heirloom! It would be stellar to own the revolver as a collectible, but to have it come from your grandfather is just over the top.

Congratulations!

Has anyone given any thought to making a " coffee table" book of registered mags with color images of all accesories including badges , boxes and docs? A short biography of the original owner any images of him carrying and using the revolver. If anyone out there is considering this activity, put me down for 3 copies.
