My thoughts as well. I've never voted in the NRA BOD voting because I didn't have any idea who to vote for.

I think that the leadership of the NRA can weather this storm. The membership certainly can. It's messy but not fatal to the overall organization.

I do think the NRA should have moved its charter out of New York State long ago.

These so-called reformers probably deserve a shot (pun intended) to bring the NRA back from the brink so I'm just voting for those 4 and nobody else.

If you read your American Rifleman each candidate has a short bio included so there is really no excuse for not knowing who they are.

Any chance of getting Oliver North back in. I've always thought of him as a man of principle. I'd like to see him in a leadership role. Another desirable addition would be to get Tom Selleck back on the board and/or in a leadership role.

Additional thought: The ballot has a space for write-in names. How about writing in Oliver North and Tom Selleck. Both have held positions in the NRA previously. I sincerely believe they are both honorable men.

First step should be cancelling Wayne's contract and making him personna non grata at any and all NRA related functions.

Next step would be to root out members of Wayne's cult among the board and officers and remove them from their positions.

IMO, the start of a cure for both is term limits.

No one should be in charge of a non-profit for most of their adult life. Too many temptations with a big pot of cash.

As a long term NRA member, certified RSO and 5 discipline certified instructor, I support the NRA. I just wish it could be, and hopefully will become, what it used to be before the corruption.
Change and rebuilding of its board and leadership are needed.
