Well the wife and I took the kids out trick or treating last night. We live in a nice little neighborhood outside of Richmond, nice place to walk around and trick or treat. It takes a lot to bother me and I don't mind that people who live in bad areas of Richmond come out to our neighborhood for their children to enjoy the holiday.
But as we were walking around I kept noticing that a lot of traffic was the same cars. Now bear in mind with all the kids and parents out there it was pretty crowded. Then you add the idiots that are to lazy to walk and they just follow their kids from house to house in their car. To me this is just trifling and dangerous. Then they have the nerve to honk the horn at people to get out of the way because their children are getting ahead of the car. Then they would pull past the kids and stop a few houses down below to wait. Then it would start all over again.
I could understand if they had bad health but most were younger than my wife and I. There were also no handicap emblems on the vehicles. And to make it worse they would have their music thumping also. I mean come on do you really have to see if you can vibrate your license plate off the trunk of your car with your base? It really makes me wish my kids had the privilege of growing up in the country and not have to deal with that ****.
Anyone else had to deal with these kind of issues while out last night? I guess it's just the way things are. But part of me would love to tell them to take their butts back to where they live and do this stuff. I shouldn't have to worry about my kids getting hit by some idiot who is just to lazy to get out and enjoy the fresh air. They are just there for the free candy and nothing else. Guess they are used to the government giving them free food so they figure why not sponge off these folks who live in a nice neighborhood. It's not like we live in a country club, everyone I know works in our little neighborhood. We have all sorts from LEO's to carpenters. Just a nice blue collar neighborhood. Ok I feel better, that is my rant for the day.
