I just noticed that XGrips now makes a sleeve for Compact 2.0 mags in a 9c/40c

My compact 2.0 .40 S&W came with two from the factory. I tried them today for the first time, and really didn't like the way the mag moved around while shooting.

I've used the full-sized 15 round mags in my 40c, but they make the butt too long for easy concealment. From the pictures I've seen, the 13 round mags don't extend that much farther the 10 round ones with the pinkie extension attached, which is what I often carry.

My 2.0 4" compact 9mm came with two factory sleeves to work with the 17 round mags. I've shot with them numerous times and found them to work just fine. I guess you can spend $13.oo to get the Xgrip ones but the factory ones seem to work just fine.

I think some of you are missing it. This is for the "original" M&P 1.0 compacts to use the 2.0 compact mags.

The 1.0 9c takes 12 rounds. There are Xgrips to allow using the FS 17 round mags. These new ones allow the use of the 15 rounds mags.

The item in the link Raisin posted does the same thing.

Adapter by Raisin

I can vouch for the ones Raisin does. They make the 1.0 compact feel even better to me than the 2.0 compact does. It rounds the butt at just the right spot to make the 1.0 9c fit and point so naturally that I have several of them. I forgot all about getting the 2.0 compact just now carry my 1.0 "Raisin" model most of the time. The wife and I have small hands and have several shield but now I am afraid I will lose my 1.0 " Raisin " model to her. I can't think of any better complement for the adapters.

To me, that sounds like a good excuse to buy a 2.0, 3.6! lol the grip on the 2.0 is slightly longer, probably too long for her hands.....

You can thank me later!

Here's another excuse to get a 2.0 3.6 Compact.

$299:
Smith & Wesson M&P40 M2.0 Compact 40 S&W Pistol with 3.6 Inch Barrel | Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore

That's about $30 less than I paid for my 40c 1.0, which I thought was a screaming deal at the time!

The 9mms are still up around $380-400, but they'll probably come down to parity with the fo'dy when the market gets saturated.

Oh yeah, they also have the mags in question on sale for $16.

I have them on my 40 Shield and BG 380. Gives a little more to fill the palm of my hand, makes them more pleasant to shoot. Had to use a heat gun to soften the one for the Shield to get it on.
