Yea its Christmas and gun sales are up for everyone, I'm still waiting for my gun to ship from PSA been 2 weeks so far, no CS replies.
I know it's trivial but I'm upset

I got two of those fancy omen faucet sets from a Restore in pa. New in the box. 15 a piece
That "VIP" thingy isn't offered to a "select few" ... it's a subscription/membership available to anyone who wants to pay to be a VIP member! It's $25 a year, and you don't have to "qualify" or do anything other than send them money...so, to me that isn't an "elite" type deal.
I have only bought one gun from Bud's...and it was a completely satisfactory experience. I wanted a SIG P229, and it was eligible for next day shipping for VIP members. I joined as a VIP member, and placed my order. Because I was ordering late at night, I knew that it would not ship the next day, but the day after.
The order went through without a hitch, I got numerous updates via e-mail from Bud's about the order's progress and shipping, and it arrived within three days at my LGS. The gun was brand new, exactly as described, and I had no complaints.
As I said, this was my only experience ordering from Bud's...and I am aware that there are many complaints, but my experience was 100% positive.

know what you are saying...don't tell me a week and a month later i have nothing...with no reason provided...i don't think they will cheat you...they just move at their own pace....slow

I think most of the time your experience with a company depends upon the individual you are dealing with. I have been buying, selling, and collecting guns for 45 yrs. I have worked in two gunshops and had my own FFL for several years. I developed friendships with people at certain distributors and companies I knew I could count on. They would tell me what was available and what was not, and if not, how long it would take to get it. People like that are golden in any business. People good to their word.
There are also slugs employed out there who could give a rip about your service and would rather walk across a four way street to tell a lie when it would be easier to stand in front of you and tell the truth. A big company is always going to have a slug or two in the mix so your experiences will vary. I just think most people like to be told the truth about an order instead of being lied to. The slug will think how smart he is by telling you a big one and how dumb you are for beleiving him. At the least irritating and not in a small way.

My gun store left a message My guns finally arrived but another strike against buds. They never notified me or provided the tracking numbers as they advertise. Sheesh. Never again

Dont mean to sound cruel but when I deal with gunstores I walk in. I dont do mail order or Gunbroker yet. With Buds I just make a few mile drive and I have no problem with them. I hate to give someone a bad reveiw but so far the shops I deal with have been great even Buds.
