I had some Blazer brand tracer ammo some years back, also in 9mm, and it was a real hoot to shoot in the evenings.
Great idea with the pics/ video if your in a sharing mood-
Enjoy!

I think this might be different than plain ol' tracer ammo, and I'm afraid it might be "hot" for a Glock.
I did a search and found a 50 cal that used a 9mm for spotting. It had a barrel on the top of the gun that fired the 9mm tracer (these?) and who knows hot the military has these loaded.
I was hoping someone might remember these from the range back in the day and might have some info.

It's training ammo to be used in a sub caliber device in the AT-4 (anti tank shoulder fired weapon).

The 9mm tracer is supposed to mimic the full charge 84mm rounds trajectory. The tracer element is supposed to work at least to the 450/500yrds ranges. Max range is something on the order of 1200 yrds I think.

Makes for cheap, quiet practice and easily spotted shots.
I don't know if the rounds are safe to fire in a standard 9mm Handgun or not.

so I just finished reading that entire site I posted earlier about the ammo. If one would have any questions after reading that, then they didnt' really read it. It covers EVERYTHING!

Thank you all!
JJW that is the ammo.

I think I'll just put this up as a collectable and not a shooter box of ammo.

I would love to have a box of those cartridges for my collection, but I live in California. Because too many irresponsible shooters have caused too many forest fires and grass fires with tracer and incendiary ammunition, this ammunition has been classified under California law as a Destructive Device. Possession of a Destructive Device without a special permit is a felony, whether a tracer, hand grenade, Claymore mine, or 105mm howitzer. And we all know what happens with a felony conviction: bye-bye guns, bye-bye happiness.

When I retire in 5 years, 2 months, and 1 day and move back home to Alabama, then I can start adding some good stuff to my collection. Until that time I can only be envious of all of you who do not live in California. Of course in 5 years it may not matter. Allah's Anointed One, with Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, and the others, may have taken away all our guns and ammunition.
