I lost a part

While working on my groundhog rifle, I managed to lose the magazine spacer for my model 700 Remington 223. I've hit various site's I know of and GPI has what I hope is the correct part on the way. The first part that was supposed to fit was one of these creations by a jack leg supplier that didn't fit and I couldn't make it fit. Midwest is out of stock. Any suggestions?

They've got a part they claim fits. It didn't. OTOH, the price reflected the poor construction. I'm hoping a part that's priced like the original fits, but I'd like a real factory part. The thing seems outrageously easy to lose, this is the second one I've lost. You'd think I'd learned.
