Hadn't sold any ammo recently so I decided to move some. Everything went fine until I went to what once was the local hub - permanently closed! So I called the buyer I told him and asked if he wanted the check back or just tear it up!
FedEx won't accept from an individual and the UPS 'stores' won't either so does anyone know of any work around on this issue?

Thanks

I ran into that awhile back. I went to the "store" and correctly identified Ammo, and the clerk said "That's a gift right?". I nodded and he processed it and was delivered without a problem.

Box up what you want shipped, carry it into a store that deals with UPS for delivery, preferably with a pre-printed label, hand package to the clerk, nothing said but: "this is for shipment, thank you, goodbye" is all one needs to say. I've done this dozens of times and it works every time. One gets less inquiry at a non-UPS store than at UPS itself!

So . . .what I've learned goes like this.
UPS - go to their web page and do what the 'hubs' used to do i.e. dimensions, weight etc. and print out the label and affix to the box and - I was told, take it to a UPS store and they should accept it.
FedEx - I went to a FedEx store had them weigh it, check the dimensions and then, using their computer system, generated a shipping label for the package. One question required, why I don't know, is the phone # of the recipient? The stores WILL NOT ship - you need to go to a FedEx hub and they will accept the marked package and ship it.
Life WAS simpler with UPS hubs unfortunately.😢

UPS stopped having an affiliate in town. The closest one now is 20 mile to the next town and 40 miles from me.
It's very inconvenient.
