I want to mount a Tasco ProPoint on a breakover SS 16 gauge, any ideas? I shoot slugs through it!

If it's an old break open single shot you might be able to find a suitable clamp that will fit around the chamber area forward of the locking lug(s). You'd probably have to relieve the wood on the forearm. Just an idee...

Was thinking of some barrel clamp thingy myself, but had the same concern Grover. I highly doubt that you manitain ANY kind of zero without getting it pretty dang tight. Was also thinking that you have to be able to close the thing as well so a clamp would most likely have to be foward of the break.
