Another trade and my Single Action Army is Home

Whew! I finally have my first Colt Single Action Army. Traded away a couple more guns and a little cash to get her out of the LGS safe and into mine. On close examination, the revolver has been cycled however it was never fired. Colt's polishing and plating is nearly flawless on this 3rd Generation 5.5 inch Bbl. 44 S&W Special, which I understand was not always the case for a 1980 era Colt.

I am going to shoot this revolver! Just need to hit the reloading bench and make her some fodder.

Looks expensive. Is there a vaccination of some kind?

All Colts are addictive, but the SAA's are the worst. I've got 3 now. a 1906 .38WCF w/ a extra .41 Colt cyl, a 3rd gen 357 and a 3rd gen .44spl /.44WCF convertable Sheriffs mod. 3" Bbl. My wife says "why do you need more then one, they all look alike". (how little she knows) Now if I can just swing a .45 Colt cal. I know I don't really need it. But Jones does!

a cure

No known avalible but there is a surgery procedure that will remove the excess cash & with it goes the craving.

It's called "divorce court" (no need to ask how I found out) ;)

That's what I call cherry pickin'!!!! I have long fallen for the best looking guns for the best price in Colt or S&W (and can be tempted by a few others on rare occassion)...I rarely buy new, and when you score like that you know you will always be ahead...

Congrats!!!

Colts, I like my S&Ws but I have room for some Colts.
