Picked up this NIB Baby Rock RIA .45 yesterday for $450. It's an all steel mini double stack 1911 with a ported 3.1" barrel and LPA sights.
Back in the '90s I had a Para P10, and though it was a neat little double stack mini-1911, I could never get it to run reliably. I'd get stove pipes about every third mag, despite trying several different types of ammo.
The reviews on the Baby Rock are almost all good, so hopefully I'll have better luck. Being all steel construction, where the P10 was steel slide and aluminum frame IIRC, I wonder how the little RIA would handle .45 Super with an appropriate recoil spring replacement.
I wish RIA would add a mini 10mm 1911 to their line!
