I pulled into Nazareth,

Music from Big Pink.

This is the house with Dylan and The Band lived in Saugerties NY.

Levon Helm was the father in Coal Miners Daughter and the old gunsmith from Tenn in The Shooter with Mark Wahlberg.

I remember when that happened.

That was The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.

Your gonna drive me to drink'n...

If you don't stop driving that hot rod Lincoln. :p

Always leaned a bit more towards the country side of R&R.

Yup....that was pretty much the '60s.....

There must be some kind of way out of here...said the joker to the thief.....there's too much confusion.....I can't get no relief....

One of my favorites,

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outa you.

Blame A10, he is the one that got me thinking about Zimmerman.

It makes me sad to think that we are truly watching the passing of an era...Jagger with be a great grandfather soon....though there are some real talents, none of it is the quality or intensity of the old stuff.

JMHO, of course....and Lab, I'll stand up for that blame any day!

The entire soundtrack to that movie is filled with some of the best Music of the day. Can't hardly get that kind no mo'! :(

I was just a kid but struck by the poetry of "Don't Bogart that joint my friend, pass it over to me.
Roll another one, just like the other one.
Or not, what can I say it was 1969.
