I love my neighbors, we have had each others backs for over 20 years. Kind of a big extended family, they can at times be a bit nosey.

At my age, and with my health problems, I like knowing that neighbors will be aware if I'm not seen walking my dog for too long a time.

A while back I opened my mailbox to find a letter from my down the street neighbor. Inside was a blank check and a note asking me to spend what ever it took to sound proof my chicken coop. Her gripe was my rooster was waking her up in the morning.
I suggested that she spend the money sound proofing her bedroom.
She don't like me.
