New to the Forum. Born & raised in a small town west of Chicago. Following a tour in Vietnam spent my LE career in Califriggenphornia. Hired on Oakland PD August 13, 1968. First duty weapon was a Colt Trooper. Later to a Model 19, 27, and finally a Model 59. I carry a 659 today. My wife has a 637 and just acquired a BodyGuard 380. She likes the 380 in her purse.

I have already learned from the Forum and look forward to making a few friends.
