My guess is that at a minimum, he sustained bruising to the lungs (pleural contusions). Lungs don't like being contused and beat upon, and they start leaking fluids, especially blood, (pleural edema). Despite his protests to the contrary, I think the round, or perhaps pieces of the bullet jacket did penetrate the skin of his chest wall. He probably has the constitution and survivability of a cockroach, so this won't kill him, but he doesn't feel quite as spry as he is letting on.

No, I'm not a doctor, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn last night. I've just seen quite a bit of trauma in almost 20 years of working as an EMT and an ER Nurse.

Somehow I suspect that portion of the vid was not possible as the camera man and most other parties probably couldn't get a good shot from the back of the squad.

My word I can not get over the lunacy that I just witnessed. I can't get rid of the lump in my throat. Unbelievable, utterly and totally unbelievable.

The shooter does not really take his time aiming either, that could have ended in tragedy. But you know the most interesting thing stated in the video was the

"I love you m.., oh no i don't love you mom"

I wonder if the others guys took their turn.

When I brought home my vest the first thing I did was sit the boys down and explain that just because it is a bullet "proof" vest does not mean it will stop all bullets and that testing was forbidden and well....STUPID.
