IDPA Loads?

New to reloading and IDPA and hoping some of you experienced IDPA shooters who reload for 40S&W can help me. I am currently using 5.5gr Longshot behind 165gr Precision Delta FMJ, but realize there must be a better load. Looking for the least muzzle flip that will cycle in my M&P40PRO 5". I am hearing that I would be better served using Clays or Bullseye and possibly 180gr bullets.

Any experienced IDPA shooters that reload for 40S&W willing to share some advice and load details to get me on the right path.

I wouldn't use anything as fast as Bullseye or Clays for the 40. I do use 5.2grs of Universal Clays behind a 165gr JHP with good results. The 5.5grs of Longshot is way below their starting loads, I only use Longshot when I want the maximum performance out of a load.
