If you bought a new S&W recently and love it... tell us!

Bought a New Old Stock 686 no dash 4inch. Just call up S&W customer service and they will send me the label to send it back for M modification. I want to convert the barrel to 3" as well but they do not have any in stock.

about a month ago I bought a Smith & Wesson 1086 10mm and love it. I am currently in the market for a 1066 10mm. to complete my Smith & Wesson 10xx wants.

686 3"

Just bought a 686 3" yesterday, shot it today!
LOVE IT!!!!!
It does have some fit and finish issues though.
I'll live with it awhile then decide whether or not
to send it back for repair.

That's a beauty.. I'd like one... could of had the JM brand new a couple years ago from S&W retail store, kick my but for not buying one.. under $800, think it was somewhere in the $700 something range.. I keep an eye out for one.. maybe find someone to trade for my 44spl Thunder Ranch...

First S&W purchase was a M&P22, then got myself a shield in 9mm. Wanted to get into revolvers so the next purchase was a 640 pro series in 357 mag. Bought a 617 6" barrel today, picking it up tomorrow. Also have a 686 4" on order and expected any day. I guess you could say I have the S&W bug. They sit nicely in my safe next to my sigs.

Found a new Model 63 3" that followed me home...my first j frame...looking for a 60 pro now.

...found a new 60 Pro last night. Cost me a sig I didn't shoot well due to the grip and a little cash but I am looking forward to getting it dirty!

Recently purchase a 460 XVR with the 14" barrel. I added a 2.5-8 Leupold to finish it. I LOVE IT! I went to sight it in and was very impressed. After the final adjustment for 100 yards, I fired 3 rounds, all 3 were in the bull touching each other. Trigger measured 3.5 lbs. out of the box and recoil was surprisingly manageable with the weight and compensated 14" barrel. Due to handicap, I haven't been able to fire a rifle or go hunting for over 20 years now. Already have license and tags, CAN'T WAIT!

Within the last year, a 625JM, 686P, 625PC, 617 and an M&P 22. Shot the JM a few months ago, great shooter. Just shot the M&P 22 yesterday and that was a great shooter with over 200 rounds of different ammo without a single jam. I'm impressed for a 22 semi-auto pistol. 617 and 625PC are currently in jail, but I can't wait for those two.

Since late July I've bought a model 59, nickel 39-2, blued 39-2, 15-4, 4513TSW, and a 439...for me personally, that's a lot in a short span, but when you see a deal on a gun they don't make anymore, what else are you supposed to do?

smith crazy

lets see, in the last 12 mo, 2 airweights for wife and daughter-in-law, M&P 40 cal. c.o.r.e, m66 dash1,m686 4in no dash, M686 PLUS 3IN, M&P 22

About a year ago, I got a brand new 640 Pro: couldn't be happier with it. No lock, tight lock-up, perfect aesthetics, great sights. What's not to like?

The story is interesting too. Three or four years ago, I sent S&W my old model 640 no-dash (maybe 25 years old) with some problems. They charged me to fix it, saying that they were not warranty problems. Got it back and the gun had the same problems. Sent it back again and they decided that the problems were associated with a cracked frame. Although they did not refund the $80 or so and shipping from the first fix, they offered me a new gun (much better!). They offered me a new 640-? with the lock. I had heard about the soon-to-be-released 640 Pro and asked for that. They finally agreed to ship me the nicer gun, mostly because when I sent the 640 no-dash back for the second time, they lost it at the factory for several months (Odd story, but that's what they told me on the phone when I complained that I had never heard from them about my gun). I had to wait a couple of years before the 640 Pro finally went into production (it was announced two years before they actually started to make them) but it was worth the wait!

Anyway, the new gun is just great. I think that some nice person cherry-picked it for me, because of the serial number [some letters) 1111. I could not be happier. There were some initial hiccoughs and then Smith make it right!

I bought a model 6" model 19 in 1980. Loved it. I bought a 2" model 19 a year later. Loved it. Since then, I've only bought used Smith & Wessons. I love them all. New or old, it doesn't matter. I love Smith & Wesson revolvers.

I have bought six this year. Just received my S&W 300 Whisper/ Blackout yesterday. I love all my Smiths!

I don't buy a S&W revolver unless I absolutely love it. That said, I have yet to find even a modicum of affection for their semi-auto line...they need to leave that to Colt, Walther, Sig, and other big boys.;)

642 no lock, this week and finally got to shoot it today. Wouldn't change a thing, it shoots and feels great.
