Ok, ok.... we've all seen threads about "what if (some weird scenario) and you could only own ONE gun?!".

Well, here's one for you but a little different:

Twist part one: You could own all the ARs and shotguns and full sized handguns etc that you want...

BUT, if you had to cut back to one concealed carry gun... what would it be?

Twist part two: NO J-FRAMES!

Wow, good question and a tough decision. As much as I like my LW Commander and have become very comfortable with it as my primary carry gun, I think if I had to limit my selection to just one the Commander might lose out. Based on unscientific studies conducted in my basement with a cheap postal scale, my Glock 19 with a 15rd mag and one in the pipe weighs LESS than my Commander with an 8rd mag and 1 in the pipe, takes up no more space on my hip and doubles my potential firepower if needed.

Hate to say it. Glock 19.

That's a long way of asking what cc piece would we choose if it couldn't be a J... ;)

It's a close call with a Glock 19, but I like the compact revolvers for deep concealment, so I'd get the next closest thing to a J: an SP101 or a Colt Detective Special.

I'd pick my 242Ti -- it's an L frame.

Or perhaps this 629

Gonna be different this time and chose the 21st Century version of the bread-n-butter S&W Model 10.

S&W 9mm SD9VE...reliable, simple, ergonomic, robust and accurate...

If I couldn't have my J,, it would be my Kimber 3" .

Currently don't have a 4" 1911 or a G19. But if I could only have one handgun,, an alloy frame 4" 1911 or a G19 would also be high on my list.

Cold Officers Model 45. Light weight, 3 5/8" barrel. Shoots to POI.

OR

When it comes in my new charter arms Bulldog. (maybe a week)

Or what I carry in my motorcycle jacket pocket, an LCP

BUT usually its a 637 with CT grips loaded with +p wadcutters.

Nice to see the love for the 45.
