If you could only have one!

well since it is my only revolver its kind of easy. model 19-8 4"
as long as its a .357 with a 4"-6" barrel id be fine, AND as long as it was a smith and wesson

Why so specific on the 3.5" barrel? A 3" or 4" wouldn't do?

Dunno. I just like that barrel length. I like the 4" in general, and I have found the 3" to balance a little off (for me). The pencil barrel 4" model 10-5 I have is really nice in the hand, but it looks a little weird to me.
Take a look at a 27 in 3.5, and tell me it isn't perfect, asthetically. I just like the K-frame for more all around shooting/carrying.
One of these days I have to buy a 3.5" model 27 and decide if I am going to love it or not.

Seeing I don't use a revolver for concealed carry as that's my P228 Sig's job I would probably opt for either of these two and it would be a flip of the coin choice. They are both very accurate and I believe everyone needs a 22LR handgun as a last resort gun and I'd probably go with the 8 & 3/8 inch barreled Model 17-4

My 686-4, 4", plus, RB.

...and my 2.5" 66 would be my second choice.

But I'd be awfully conflicted...

choice threads SUCK! i want a model 27 and something in .22 as well

Prior to this past Tuesday I would have said a 640 .38spl

But I just traded into a 4" 28-2 and all I can say is I will go with a 28-2.

that is until I find a 27

My two choices for protection are......

In the first thumbnail is my first choice for protection. If I were to be threatened I would simply unleash the tremendous charming capabilities of my Granddaughter, then move in and gain the upper hand.:D
But if I could only keep one Handgun out of my very meager collection for SD or hunting, it would have to be this second thumbnail. A police trade in 65-4. It is accurate even for me. I would have said that it would have been my M37 no dash, but I like the extra power of the .357 option with the 65 4" HB. I have grown to love this gun. It is very tight and shoots great.
Peace,
gordon

Since it's "one revolver" do I get to keep my semi-autos? :D
I think I would have to go with my 3" Ruger GP100 out of the revolvers that I currently own. If I could have any revolver that I wanted, then probably a 3" model 65 since I would carry it concealed.

For me, my 3" Model 65. Concealable, cartridges speak for themselves, and it's accurate.

HiCap (in this case LoCap)

I would have to keep my 629 Mountain Lion and lie about losing my 340 M&P that's safely tucked away in my pocket.

Well, in the end, the 2" J frame conceals better than anything I can think of. A Centennial gets my pick, right now that means a 642.

Oh that? The other lump in my pants? Ummm, that's not a snub M66, it's just, umm, a colostomy bag. Yeah, yeah! That's it!

For my use make it a model 14 6 inch with3Ts

Amen brother! My Model 14 is my favorite revolver and 2nd favorite gun period. Mine's a 1965 model that would probably rate 92-95%. Nothing fancy, but nothing ratty either. Mine doesn't have the 3 T's...doesn't have any of them as a matter of fact. Even so, it makes almost every trip to the range because it's just so much fun to shoot.

If I had to pick my absolute favorite, it'd probably be a Model 41.

That's a tough question, maybe Colt Python? Nawww, I guess I'll stick with my 5" 627PC. 2 extra rounds and just as accurate (and that 4" Python is very accurate!)

M66 2.5"

Versatility...

For me, that is priority number one... IF it has to be only ONE gun...

My M66 2.5" would be my choice! Love that revolver!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

A 66-3 with keith browns. 3 1/2 inch bbl. Easy to conceal, plenty of juice for bad guys.
