i'm back ....could use some forum help

i was off the frorum for a few weeks and missed all you fine people !

i re-registered under a new name ( formally rock and roll kid ) and have now susucessfully changed my pass word back to my old one.

QUESTION can i go into profile, or ? and get my old USER NAME re-instated ? i didnt see a place to do this or just missed it somehow.

do i need to contact the " adminstrator " to do this ?

I would think that you would need to contact a moderator to change your name to one that was previously used. They would have to delete the original account in order for the name to be used again.

Why didn't you just sign in under your old user name?

i believe i tried that.....

when i registered several years ago , the account was made with my former wifes e-mail address. going to the "forgot my password "


' section, i would be sent a new password under her e-mail address ONLY. the forum wouldnt reconize my current and correct e-mail since it wasnt on file with the forum.
i am not sure that her mail is still active, and i would need her password to get my new password that was sent to me .

i re-registered with new user name and password and then went into profile to change my password to what i used to have, but didnt see a place to change my user name back back to the original.

still looking for help with this if anyone is listening.

Actually, I fixed you on the 4th within an hour of you emailing me from an email account that begins with "joycecats@".
I assumed you would want my answer to go to the same email account you were emailing me from.

You folks have to help me help you, as in checking for my answer to you.......

I just sent a new password for "rock n roll kid" to the email that begins with "kl".
You WILL have to use the password I just sent you. Change it after logging in if you like.
