I am 63 years old, live in Texas, am a biker.
When I was able to do something, I made my living as a mechanic/millwright/welder.
In my spare time I was a farrier/horse trader. I made no money at this, but I did enjoy it.

Mule,

Welcome to the forum.

I'm 66 and having shod a few broomtails myself, I must compliment you on being 63 and still standing upright.

That was the hardest work I ever did.

Welcome to the Forum.

You would like my molly mule. She is REAL easy to shoe. Once, the farrier was trimming the three horses, and had taken a break. Betty Boop, my draft mule, walked up to him and offered him a hoof. The farrier started trimming and I mentioned, "You know she's not tied. I don't even have a lead line on her. She just walked up on her own".

He looked a mite surprised. I explained that my girl was jealous of the attention the horses were getting and that SHE wanted her nails done too.
