Sure nothing wrong with that. Very nice job.

Looks good to me also. Nice work!
What are the materials?

Very nice work. I, also, made a holster, for myself. A different pattern from yours. I'm now working on a holster for a friend.

Looks great. You sure it's your first? Your stitching is excellent.

Did you get the edges slick? That's always the toughest part for me.

Yes.... my first leatherwork since I was a kid.
I didn't get the edges as good as I wanted nor did I cut grooves for the stitching. I need to get a few more tools I guess. I even used a kitchen fork to mark my stitch spacing...lol.

I'll go out on a limb since you mentioned using wood stain and venture you may have used wood glue as well - wood glue works great but keep it away from the gun. When it hardens it will scratch a finish up....ask me how I know ;) If not totally disregard!

Your first attempt is much finer than mine.

I used shoe goo... Very strong rubber type glue. It definately lacks many of the finer details but I am very happy with the results. It will be worn concealed anyways. I wanted it to be practical and comfortable..... And so far it wears really close and comfy. Thanks again for all the positive feedback from all.
