Insanity Claus

"After it was all over I kicked myself for not videoing the scene"...Jinglebob, you are obviously over the age of 30! Any 30 yo or less person would have run out of camera memory on their cell.

I bet that was an interesting exchange to witness.

I've been vaccinated, gotten covid, and would NOT wear a mask unless I absolutely have to (like at a doctor's office). I'm conservative and dislike the teacher's union. BUT yes kids should wear masks. A a parent and now a grandparent kids are the biggest cold/flu/covid carries that ever existed.

Several years ago I was playing Santa for a local church group. My friend caught me before I went in and told me his son had been acting up at dinner and causing problems. As I was passing out candy canes, his son came up and I asked him if I should put him on the "bad boy" list. He looked puzzled and said no, he had been good. I then proceeded to reiterate the events over the dinner table, even using some of the same language used. I will never forget the look on his face when his bluff had been called and his actions were "exposed." I will also never forget the look on the face of his father as boy's expression radically changed.

And thanks to Onomea for reminding me where that came from. For some reason I was wondering about that a few days ago.
It goes back a ways...I recall seeing Bugs use the phrase in WB cartoons from the WWII era, and I have a vague memory of Daffy Duck using it also...Time to search YouTube on my breaks from other activities...;)...Ben
