inside or outside the waist holster ?

Adams Leather Works, OWB, RH cross draw. If you do a lot of sitting or driving it works great.

This is my Sneaky Pete's holsters. on the right is the Taurus Slim and the left is the M&P 40C. On the back there are two belt clips, I slip my belt through them and put them on the right side. There are two strong magnets on the flap and inside the holster for a positive closing. But it's easy enough to slide your hand up from the bottom lift the cover and draw from it very quickly.

cant do iwb not willing to buy all new pants i carry my fs m&p40 owb but i live in nv oc is legal

skar Buy a desantis soft tuck or pocket tuck to learn with - Not just for pockets , It does make for a good learning holster . You will not be out much money and you will have a holster that has some vertical adjustment and will tilt to the front or rear to give you some idea of what type of holster you will need and to use till some product that maybe 2 to 5 weeks out to get .

There most be 4000 holsters makers out there today and most of them have a rooting section on how great there product is. So this little low cost holster will help you to figure out IWB options and give you time to figure it out and not spend money good money on something all wrong for you.

OWB for a T-shirt and jeans kind of guys may not be a first choice but nice to have when you can coat up.

This will be one time I will not tell a person to buy what I wear . Ain't no one best holster for the masses .

What is the general consensus about ankle holsters? I realize that you can't get to it as quickly as a waist holster, but it seems comfortable enough.

If you are looking for deep concealment, or if you must tuck in your shirt, check out Tactipac holsters. I got one (Elite model) a few months ago and it is very good at what it does.

I carried a Colt Lawman .357 2" in a Bianchi Pistol Pocket at 4:00 until I realized it was the source of my sciatica. A 469 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special worked better but was not as secure. A good pancake on a proper belt was where I landed when working. (RIP Roy Baker) They concealed and carried securely everything from airweight snubs to M39s to 4" N-Frames.

A good ankle rig, preferably with a second strap over the calf is a good option when driving. Worn on the inside of the weak side leg it is accessible with either hand. Draw from a sitting or kneeling position is very easy once you get the hang of it. Awkward but possible from standing.

I am too fat to carry IWB, but my goal for 2015 is to drop the weight so I can appendix carry.

The alien gear holster is....it's ok... it is what is. It was cheap. The leather is not high quality. I have had it 2 days now and as you can see, there is already some wear on the outer edges. I love my hidden hybrid holster. I have had it a few months now and wear it every day for at least 10 hours. High quality leather no leather wrinkles or odd wearing like on the alien gear. And it can be worn owb. All you have to do is take the belt clips off. You can spend 60$ and get 2 alien holsters (1 owb and 1 iwb) that are made of ok material or you can spend 60 on a hhh and get the same results with higher quality materials. Just my opinion

I carry appendix IWB. I tried various holsters and I have to say that the N82 Pro holster wins for comfort and retention hands down. It is also sweat proof. I too also wear jeans and a tee shirt. I have not had to buy my jeans bigger, but I do pay attention to my shirt size and length. I have even been known to try on shirts in a store dressing room and raise my arms to make sure the shirts are long enough to cover my "toy" and that the gun is not printing.
