I'm looking for an inexpensive inside the waistband holster for my new M&P 45FS. I won't be wearing it very often in that I have the smaller M&P 9c for daily wear.

Any suggestions?

What are your thoughts about an Uncle Mike's holster?

Thanks!

When your Life depends on it, do not go cheap.

I have been using Milt Sparks IWB holsters for over 30 years.

Whether for a 1911, a 4" Mod 29 or a Glock 17, they have always worked perfectly.

I still use on a regular basis, the first Milt Sparks 1911 holster I bought, I have had for 30+ years. I have worn that holster a LOT over the years.
It is still as good as the day I bought it...
That is value for the dollar, IMHO.

IWB for fs M&P 45

Fist #19 leather IWB with snap straps. It works for the 45 compact too. I have both but actually find myself carrying the full size way more often than the compact, even in the summer. I think it was about $75 a few years back.

I carry a Sig 220 in a Remora with the reinforced top (In fact I just took it off a few minutes ago). They are comfortable and stay put in the waistband. I also have one that I use for both a 3914 and a SR22 Ruger.

Inexpensive is a relative term. I carry my 45C in a CTAC MTAC, and it was not an expensive holster to me, because I carry my 1911 in a Brommeland Max Con V which cost quite a bit more.

For me the word inexpensive and self defence are not used in the same sentence.

Depends upon what you're looking for.

If it doesn't need to be tuckable, the Don Hume 715M is a well made, well designed, reasonably priced holster. I carried a Glock 22 in one until I made my own tuckable IWB for it.

I especially like that the clip is strong enough to be secure (specifically praised by Ayoob) while not being so tenacious that you can't actually get it off when you need to.

For about $95 delivered you get the best hybrid holster on the market. Great design, great value, truly versatile, and the M&P stuff is always in stock. Check it out.

For me the word inexpensive can be synonymous with great products as well a crappy products.

For the money Don Hume is very hard to beat, DeSantis is next in line in my book.

Most of my herd rides in Kramer #3 or Milt Sparks VM-2 but they are NOT cheap options.

Galco King Tuk is what my son uses for his M&P 40C, I used it for my M&P45FS to see if I liked it. Costs around $50 at Midway. I already put my request in for a Fathers Day present!

My IWB UBG holster is great! I have 1 for my 40c and 1 for my 45fs. Very reasonable prices @ ubgholsters.com
