I recently purchased my first suppressors and used the Silencer Shop Kiosk. I am at the point where I am waiting to certify my documents with the FFL. It has been pretty seamless so far. You buy your silencer and tax stamps then set up an account right there in the shop using the silencer shop Kiosk. You do your fingerprints photo etc. all at once. Once that is complete you then have to create an account with the ATF that uses the same name and email address you set up with Silencer Shop. They create the forms then you certify with the FFL they submit to the ATF and then you wait for approval. Once you have the account with SShop you can use the same one for additional purchases.
Right now, the ATF system is unstable and was crashing pretty regularly from what SShop has told me, so we will see what the wait time is. I bought mine on 12/23 and still have to certify the docs as I mentioned earlier.
We will see how long it takes.
