Intelligence vs. Wisdom

That can be said for sooo many food items. Wonder what the communication was when the first egg was eaten. "Hey, let's eat that thing that dropped from that birds butt." Or something to that effect.

I knew there was a reason I don't eat eggs.

How about a lobster or a crab?

Hey! I'll bet that great big scary looking water bug would taste delicious!

(The fact that they are delicious is beside the point)

Knowledge can be acquired by experience. Wisdom only comes when we are able to learn from the experience of others.

I r intellagint, but what does that have to do with my teeth?

But is salsa a .... fruit salad? And then, what about when you put mango, or peach or pineapple in it? Hmmmm....

Segment from a favorite Poet and Poem of mine, 90 degrees North by Randall Jarrell -
“Nothing comes from Nothing. Darkness from the darkness.
Pain comes from the darkness and we call it wisdom -
It is pain.”

Intellegence: She asks " If I die today which of my girlfriends would you want to be with?" Knowing there is no answer that doesn't include a beating. Wisdom is complementing her girlish figure. Joe

Wisdom is knowing she eventually is going to ask one of those questions; intelligence is knowing how to fake a coughing fit and not having to answer.
