Here's an interesting video from England on the
reaction of the "subjects" over there to the
government banning guns.

Be sure to watch it all, and pass this on to those
you think might be interested.

Let's not let the same thing happen here under any circumstances.

Keep in mind this is mostly upper middle class types whining about loss of HUNTING assets. They lost the RKBA for self defense nearly 100 years ago. Now they're after the hunters.

Maybe if they'd fought for their rights in the last century....

Recall the bad days of 1940 when the Brits begged U.S> gun owners for guns to defend Blighty. Most of which were never returned.

I wonder how many of us would send them guns these days if a similar need should arise. Of course, maybe they wouldn't need them...sounds like the criminals have enough to suffice.

This is one of the world's greatest examples of a total failure in political philosophy, yet the libs here continue to ignore that fact in favor of their version of "truth". And it's not only the means to self-defense but the absolute right to self defense that has been diminished there. If only criminals could somehow be convinced to prey upon liberal thinkers...

Back about 2000 I was attending the Service Rifle Matches at the National Matches, Camp Perry, Ohio.

There was a fellow from Australia that was in my squad, on my target that had traveled here just to shoot.

He worked for Quantas and was able to get free transportation...but came here without a rifle or shooting gear. Friends here in the states provided him with the necessary rifle and equipment to shoot.

The purpose of his trip was two fold, one he loved to shoot service rifle, and two, he just wanted to warn us...before it was too late.

He said he owned an AR15 that was confiscated by the Australian government. He was reimbursed for it, but he said things were pretty sad in Australia.

He warned of what is happening to us...right now.

He said you can not let your vigilance down for one instant, vote the crooks out of office and take charge of your government. They failed to do that and they lost.

Crime is rampant and average Joe doesn't have a gun. They are all kicking themselves in the butt crying "why did we let this happen?"

We are right there, right now.

hehe...I know a few people on that video, and Frank Cook (the member of Parliament and member of the House of Commons shooting team) made some good speeches on our behalf when we were trying to stop the handgun ban in 1997.

But the message I hope was clear about fighting for your rights: as I well remember, I did what I could to stop the ban, but the apathy amongst other shooters was one of the most annoying things as is the bigotry and ignorance of shooters of other types of firearms who think only theirs are legitimate.

Makes me think that a few different 30 second segments of that ought to be turned in to TV commercials and aired here in the USA. Prime time, network TV.

It killed me to see that Pardini SP/HP target pistol being chucked into the pile for scrap. That won't be the fate of mine!
