Just wanted to say hi and intoduce myself. My name is Del a.k.a. painman (my wife says so), and I reside in the republic of Cali. in the town of Antioch. About 30 miles east of San Francisco. Even though gun rights are severely limited in this state we do and will continue to fight for our God given gun rights as American citizens. Anyone doesn't like that can kick me out.
Anyway, don't mean to ramble but I am new to Smith and Wesson guns but think I am starting out on the right foot. I recently purchased a 5 screw model 12 airweight 38 special from a good friend of mine and am in the process of purchasing a model 39-2 DA 9mm pistol in real good shape from him as well. He has the nickel plated model and is selling the blued model to me.
His father regretfully passed away a couple of years ago and left him a nice assortment of Smith's and he was an avid gunsmith as well who took really good care of his guns.
Anyway, too long I know but maybe as you can tell I am real excited about owning and shooting these fine guns and look forward to buying even more and learning about all the great Smith's that are out there. Take care and be safe. PM. <><
