Introduction and questions.

Would like to say hello to everyone and introduce myself . Been visiting this site for some time and decided it was time to join. I am retired military and live in Lee County Al now. A few years ago I decided to acquire a smith and wesson revolver like the one I carried as a young sky trooper with 1st cav. I was able to so and needless to say I am hooked. Love the old Smiths. Needless to say that this site has been and continues to be a very helpful site about Smith and Wesson revolvers. Thank you

And for those of you who didn't have the fun of serving our dear friends in the Republic of Viet Nam, my "down south" reference was to the place we served, not to the Lower 48. Since I'm now living in Alaska, I thought I should straighten this out. We Alaskans often refer to the L48 as "down south" or "Outside."
