iOS 18 ???

I've been looking through it a bit now.

The Photos app is slightly different in appearance. I think I like the new one better. The Settings app is slightly rearranged. Instead of listing all your apps at the bottom of the screen there's a button to click on to see them now more like what I was used to on Android.

Take my observations for what they're worth. I've only been using iOS for a few months, and I still prefer Android. My son talked me into changing so we could facetime. We've done so exactly once so far.

There's a new Passwords icon for all your stored passwords. Used to have to dig for that in Settings, so that's an improvement.Apple Store is different from before. Not sure I like the new version, but it's not something I use often.

Just upgraded my iPhone and iPad.
So far the Photo section seems to have the most obvious changes.
Since I have 12,000 pictures loaded, pic changes do affect me!

I've been using iOS 18 since the First Public Beta
No Issues, a Good Experience
If your iPhone can run it, I would Upgrade

Upgraded last night. I can't any difference. (As usual, when a new IOS version comes out, I needed to reconnect my hearing aids to the phone.)

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have not bought into the Apple conspiracy of planned self-obsolescence! My android is still going strong and has outlived several I-Phone models.

Actually, we're not talking about a new iPhone model.

We're talking about the latest free iPhone operating system update, IOS 18, which upgrades, per the internet, all iPhone models produced since 2018. (Older iPhones still work. They are just no longer able to take advantage of the free operating system upgrades.)

Hmm. I bought my iPad in 2017, but it also received the latest iPad OS upgrade, 17.7, yesterday.
