Hey everyone. I just purchased a shield 9mm 1.0 and a red dot slide for it. I was wondering how the crimson trace or sig Romeo sights were?

Crimson Trace are generally considered to be dated, and SIG's Romeo Zero line is built to a price point, to put it nicely.

The SIG Romeo X line are relatively new, but seem pretty good thus far if you want a US assembled RMSc footprint optic.

Have the Romeo X Compact on my P365 380 with the top 1/3 of the standard irons for cowitness. My Hellcat OSP has the Shield RMSc with 100% cowitness of the standard irons. Both have been flawless so far and deserve a look. The Romeo X allows battery change without removal of the optic and the Shield RMSc requires removal for a battery change. My Shield 9 1.0 came with a CT801G green laser/light. I replaced the stock white dot irons with TruGlo Tritium Pro Night sights but don't feel a need for a red dot on that one yet. Good luck with your search!
