The Model 10 has been in production for a long time so dash numbers are important (for me at least) when guesstimating value. And then there is always the possibility that the seller just called it a Model 10 when it is a pre-model number revolver, maybe not even a .38 Special M&P!... a near mint 4” model ten. Price was $450. ... let’s say 98% finish with matching grips ... no box or papers ...

Not at the shows in my neck of the woods the price is the priceAt a pawn shop, nothing is worth sticker price. Just keep in mind they have no more than 50% invested. The odds are with you for a deal if you have cash to show.
