Is the 15-22 Your Favorite Rifle?

My favorite is my M1 Carbine, the AR is in second (I like loud noises). The 15-22 is fun but I use it mostly for muscle memory practice for the larger calibers I have with the same type platform.

My Saiga in 7.62x39mm is my favorite rifle. The 15-22 is the one I shoot because of monetary constraints.

I have a Saiga AK-47 too. That is one awesome rifle.

I love all of my guns though. They are like my children, but my moe fde 15-22 is definitely my favorite plinker fo shure.

If my 7.62x35mm was as cheap to shoot as my .22LR Then i'd say it was my favorite rifle, lol. Then again my .22LR is mostly used for plinking and my 7.62x35mm is used for giving long dirt naps. :)

My Tommy Gun is my all around favorite "fun" gun. But I can only shoot about 100 rounds before my arms feel like they're going to be ripped out of my shoulders. And .45 is too expensive. So, 100 rounds through the Tommy, then I break out the 15-22!

My firearms are like kids....I love them all the same, but different. :) Well, except maybe the shotgun, which is like the red-headed stepchild. I have it because I am supposed to. LOL

So my 15-22 is my only rifle... for now. New to shooting, love the fact that I can go to the outdoor pistol range and shoot it (is a longer trip to shoot anything bigger) and of course as a newbie, what I need most is practice. I can do that without breaking the bank, even at today's prices.

If you want to get away from rifles and pick the all time favorite.

My Benelli Super Black Eagle is my all around favorite. We have spent more time in the outdoors taking all kinds of game than any other firearm I have owned. It has never failed to fire and has never had a failure to eject issue. It will run any load you put in it with ease and its super easy to break down and clean. Man I am going to have to take it out and break some clays this weekend.

Its the wifes(15-22)she loves it but after 1 time seeing a big boy AR 15 at the range -she now wants a large cal AR 15.

Addendum to my original post; I was only considering .22s.

My all-time favorite rifle, although I don't shoot it all that much any more, is my Springfield-built and rebuilt National Match M1 in .308.

Awesome rifle

Shoot it a ton and love it. Grab the 223 and same grip and trigger cant lose.
