As usual the only mail that will show up are bills, all the good stuff gets lost or routed to someplace it never should have been.

Today, Cinco de Mayo and Halloween, the banks and post offices will be open. They will be closed on Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's day tho.

You mean they still deliver? Im still waiting for my requested College transcripts to arrive that I ordered a copy of back in July 1994.

I thought about something similar--such as the Pony Express mail delivery being the better faster one, but refuse to say that at all.
Yup--you guessed it--all I got was junk mail today--better than more bills I reckon?
Except in Suffolk County, MA. Where is not St. Patrick's Day, but it is Evacuation Day. Which coincidentally falls on the same day as St. Patrick's Day every year.
In Suffolk County it is a holiday and local, state, and federal offices are closed. I seem to remember that federal employees also get the holiday if they work Suffolk County.
Suffolk County is, also by coincidence no doubt, where Boston is located.

Judging by the traffic, I suspect a lot of schools here had a "training day".
